Future of Work began with a simple idea: bring the Industrialized Construction conversation closer to home. We were inspired by leaders in the prefab movement, especially the Queen of Prefab, to create an event in the Metro Vancouver area where contractors, owners, designers, and partners could gather to share what is working, what is changing, and what is next.

The event has evolved each year, but the purpose has remained consistent.

First, to elevate the construction industry by spotlighting the people, practices, and technologies that are pushing it forward. We believe a stronger, more collaborative industry benefits everyone. A rising tide raises all ships.

Second, to help educate and inspire the next generation about the opportunities in construction. The careers in this industry are varied, meaningful, and increasingly driven by innovation, and we want more people to see a future for themselves here.
